Safety Awareness and Health and Safety Courses have just resumed - See the Facebook page opposite. There are limitations of numbers of trainees because of physical distancing in FITA’s training room
Further courses are being planned and will be advertised on FITA’s Facebook page
There are three new documents that Trainees should be aware of when undertaking training delivered by FITA:
- FITA’s COVID 19 Risk Assessment
- FITA’s Self Declaration Health form
- FITA’s letter to prospective trainees setting out new course operating procedures (pre, during and post course) as a result of COVID.

Fish Industry Training Association (Highlands & Islands) Ltd. is a Seafish Approved Training Provider with Seafish Approved Trainers and courses. We specialise in providing and promoting training, learning, skills and qualifications along with technical advice, resources and services, especially for companies, business and individuals in all sectors of the fish industry.
FITA employs and sub contracts specialist, highly experienced, well qualified staff. Training is available throughout Scotland, mainly across the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. It operates in other areas with the agreement of the local fish industry Seafish approved training provider.
